General Specs:  Front-wheel drive

Fuel Economy: 25 to 32 mpg

etc..

1.) My car is a 4 door sedan, there is also 2 door coupes.
2.) 15 inch steel wheels with hub caps, some models like the SS had 18 inch wheels.
3.) 4 Cylinder Engine.  Either automatic or manual stick shift Transmission.
4.) Front Wheel Drive.
5.) Airbags driver side steering wheel and passenger side above the glove box. (no side impact on my cobalt other cobalts might have had them like the SS model).
6.) Cruise Control on the steering wheel.
7.) Windows could be either power or crank operated.
8.) The rear bench seat has a 60-40 split so you can lower one side to open space between the interior and the trunk.
9.)  Above the rear seat deck is a baby seat latching mechanism to strap a child safety seat in good and there is also 2 metal (actually square) rings coming out of behind the rear bench seat on each side near the door to also latch a child restraint seat down with.
10.)  The rear console has 2 cup holders.  Located between the front seats.
11.)  The front console has 2 cup holders located under the radio area.

16.) The windshield wipers on this car are slow on the fastest setting making driving in heavy rain difficult.  Needs 1 more speed.  There is a dial to turn up and down the speed but still in heavy rain the wiper blades are not capable of keeping the desired view clear.
17.)  The headlights on the chevy cobalt are automatic.  There is also automatic daytime running lights which light up the front headlights orange turn signal.

19.)  There is a rear 3rd brake light on the 4 door sedan models.
20.)  There is no automatic trunk latch release for my version of car 05 base model, ss model may have had it.
21.)  My car has 4 lugs, other versions have 5 lugs.

FINAL Thoughts:

The Chevy Cobalt is a nice car for daily transportation.  It was basically a car GM made to meet fuel standards with all their other vehicles GM had to balance it out with a small car.  Was used as a rental car of course.  Sub-compact class.  In South America there is Chevy Cobalt that looks nothing like the U.S. American Cobalt. (such as and... lol put link)

It is quick enough to get around town, the small side streets of American suburbia, and easily sits in traffic without much complaint.  It cruises nicely on the highway.  You will encounter a desire for more power at times because you really need to put your foot into the car for it to take off from a stop light as other vehicles take the lead on you making you feel left behind.  It is just such a nice vehicle to cruise in that you feel like you are beating the thing to go faster when you press harder on the accelerator, from a stop light.  Because the pedal position on this car is not as drastic as a Dodge Neon I once drove and you had to put your foot all the way through the pedal to simply drive around, while the cobalt is perfectly spaced for cruising, you need to literally step on it to get more speed out of it.  (is a gas saver?) On the highway gets around nicely.  Have driven it long distances.

The suspension bumpiness is ok but leans towards small car to "go cart" instead of towards nice ride to sedan.  Driving it is safer and easier than other vehicles because you never have to turn the lights on they are automatic.  You can turn them on or off like any other vehicle.  The lights are plastic like most all cars.  The parts are cheap to repair the cobalt.

Nothing much to complain about the Cobalt from me.  If you have people who routinely will be getting in the back seat maybe look for a larger sedan because while it is not impossible to sit in the back rear seats of the Cobalt it is not really that type of sedan.  Try a Chevy Impala instead.  There is not a lot of foot "leg" room so seats need to be moved up and there is no rear armrest either just a bench seat.  So it is a grocery getting kids child rear seat type of economy car that is nice.

So while my 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt base model sedan has been good for me over the years, it is basically worthless now, I called a local junk yard and was told/offered a few hundred dollars.  It would cost more money to put new tires on my car than I could sell the car for the same day.
